Job summary

Tesco Cafés are seeking a Café Manager to lead daily operations, develop a friendly team and drive sales while maintaining high standards of service. You will coach staff, manage routines, and ensure the café delivers a consistently excellent customer experience in a welcoming environment.

With a background in hospitality at supervisory level, you’ll role-model great service, organise training and development, and promote a positive, collaborative team culture across Tesco cafés.

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality at supervisory level or above.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• People management skills to lead by example and coach inclusively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall running of the café, including routines, processes and standards.
• Hold full profit and loss accountability for the café.
• Maximise sales, presentation and ensure safety and legality for customers and staff.
• Lead and inspire your team to hit sales targets.
• Understand and deliver the service plan to the required standard.
• Select, train and develop team members to take pride in their work.
• Act as a café menu expert and share knowledge with the team.
• Ensure fast service with high quality food and drinks in a clean environment.
