Buyer - FMCG

My client who work within the FMCG and Manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team. As the Buyer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the production and maintenance teams have the critical parts and materials they need.

Duties and Experience

• Source, order and manage the supply of engineering spares, parts, consumables and equipment.
• Work closely with stakeholders and the maintenance, engineering and production teams to forecast and plan requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
• The role will be heavily orientated around ordering engineering parts, you will also be required to service current contracts and order business consumables.
• Must have previous experience as a Buyer within an FMCG environment.
• Must have experience ordering engineering parts.
