Business Support provides specialist administration support to services across the Council.
The postholder will be required to provide effective business and administrative support to five Children’s Residential Homes across Calderdale.
The successful applicant will need to have experience of working in an administration role and be confident in dealing with sensitive and confidential information. You will have excellent keyboard skills, proven minute taking skills and be able to prioritise your own workload.
You will be required to maintain and report financial information, carry out financial transactions, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, holding Petty Cash, and processing transactions for Credit Card holders.
You will also be expected to maintain up to date accurate information on computerised records and systems to produce reports and documents in line with corporate standards.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
