Job description

Here at Stonewater, we are seeking Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Caseworkers – someone to take ownership of casework from start to finish, ensuring our ASB Customer Commitments are understood and delivered. This is an exciting new role within our Customer Experience (CX) directorate. The role is predominantly remote, so your location isn’t the most important thing to us. However, we’re particularly keen to recruit to support our operational delivery in the following areas:

  • Herefordshire
  • Leicestershire
  • Bristol
  • Somerset
  • Wiltshire
  • Thames Valley
  • Hampshire

You’ll provide customers with an efficient journey that delivers resolution and next steps, demonstrating sophisticated influencing and negotiation skills. You will prepare and present cases at court to an excellent standard. You’ll be responsive to changing customer needs and show compassion, managing challenging conversations with customers experiencing hate crime, domestic abuse, trauma, complex financial issues, and other experiences.

Collaboration with partners such as the Police, Local Authorities, Mental Health Services, and external mediation and legal services is essential to the role’s success.

Legal action is often a last resort; we aim to find creative solutions to resolve cases. When legal action is necessary, you’ll prepare and present legal cases in court and work closely with external legal partners to ensure the best outcomes. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip all ASB Caseworkers for success. The role requires travel to court hearings and community visits. As part of a national team, you’ll participate in duty processes to triage cases effectively.

You will use data and behavioral insights to propose service innovations and contribute to delivering change. A commitment to developing your professional knowledge in ASB and building customer confidence in digital channels is essential, along with a personal commitment to adopting new digital tools for excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience managing anti-social behaviour cases
  • Experience developing and working with external stakeholders
  • Understanding of relevant laws and legislation around housing, ASB, and safeguarding
  • Experience using a harm-based approach to ASB triage
  • Experience safeguarding and managing cases involving complex needs
  • Excellent communication skills demonstrating influence and negotiation
  • Skills in adopting digital solutions and delivering change
  • Experience in partnership working with multi-agency teams
  • Experience preparing case files for court and presenting cases in civil or criminal courts
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to find innovative solutions
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a complex caseload
  • Experience using mediation or conflict resolution services

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, references, and valid Right to Work documentation.
