Our CAMHS team is looking for an experienced Administrator to join a busy and demanding service that plays a vital role in supporting children and young people's mental health care.

This role is a Permanent position at Falcon House njima Portsmouth for 18.75 hours per week. Contact is maria.williams51@nhs.net

Our Community Paediatric Medical Service (CPMS) which includes Child Protection, Adoption and Looked after Children has two vacancies that will provide support to the medical staff within the team and to outside agencies and other team administrators.

Main duties of the job
  • Ensure referrals are actioned following the agreed procedures according to the defined performance targets and timescales.
  • Manage appointment bookings, updating the electronic record system and sending appointment letters following Trust guidelines and targets.
  • Produce letters, emails or memoranda using standardised Trust templates ensuring accurate filing, recording and distribution.
  • Produce accurate Deposit and full administration support for a range of meetings and investigations, including agenda preparation and follow‑up of appropriate actions.
  • Use and accurately populate the electronic record system (S-Cs One), with information to include referrals, scanning and uploading information from other services in a timely manner, etc., taking responsibility for the quality of the data and noting the.Window Records Standards and Recording Policy.
  • Follow agreed processes for dealing with emails on Outlook on a regular basis, prioritising both urgencyoptim and importance, taking responsibility for signposting or dealing with queries, often sensitive, regarding issues arising.
