Job role: Business Studies Teacher

Location: Cramlington

Salary: £135 - £195 per day depending on experience

Job Type: Full-Time and Long-Term

Potential: Temporary roles with strong potential to become permanent

Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and qualified Business Studies Teacher looking for a supportive and vibrant new environment? We are seeking dedicated educators to inspire our pupils across various key stages.

Role

Teaching BTEC and GCSE Business Studies with some Travel and Tourism included. This is full time until the Summer term.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
  • Uphold the school's robust safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils.
  • Work effectively within a team, share best practices, and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A relevant teaching degree or PGCE.
  • Proven experience of teaching within a UK Secondary school setting is highly desirable, but applications from strong ECTs are welcome.
  • A strong understanding of the Business Studies Curriculum and effective teaching pedagogies.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills and a creative approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to school life.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
