Zusammenfassung

The Business Hub at HMP Highpoint, run by HMPPS within the Ministry of Justice, seeks a permanent manager for its administrative processes and staff. The role is non-operational, focusing on data accuracy, budgets, and management information, with line management of Hub staff and hybrid working within the UK.

Key duties include overseeing finance processes, audits, information assurance, and coordinating external inspections, while producing management information for the Head of Function.

Qualifikationen

• Able user of MS Word and MS Excel.
• Information collation and analysis.
• Evidence of behaviours: working together, communicating and influencing, managing a quality service, leadership.

Aufgaben

• Manage the Business Hub's transactional work and admin staff, ensuring paperwork is complete and ready for onward transmission.
• Manage staff performance, development, appraisal and sickness absence.
• Manage the devolved budget under the budget delegation's financial procedures.
• Oversee finance processes including stocktaking, prisoner monies, receivables, reconciliations, accruals, outgoing pay, inter-unit charges, cashier and PIN phones.
• Oversee audits, compliance, the self-audit programme, the risk register and action plans.
• Manage information assurance, subject access requests, official correspondence and complaints.
• Coordinate HMIP visits and related governance reviews.
• Analyse Hub data, produce reports and monitor Hub performance, providing management information.
• Ensure data entered into systems is accurate and timely.
• Manage procurement, contract monitoring, staff uniform ordering, assets, vehicle maintenance, and act as signatory as needed.
