Overview

Business & HR Administrator – Wigan

People Solutions are looking for a Business & HR Administrator to join our client based in Wigan. As a Business & HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance, HR and Logistics functions of the business in a varied administrative role.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 17:30
Salary
  • £28,000 – £30,000 DOE

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Business & HR Administrator, your duties will include :

  • Preparing reports, schedules and documents for management
  • Supporting invoicing, purchase orders and expense tracking
  • Overseeing office operations, supplies and vendor relationships
  • Assisting operations teams with documentation, scheduling and KPI tracking
  • Maintaining company compliance records and procedural documentation
  • Coordinating recruitment processes including drafting job descriptions, posting adverts, arranging interviews and preparing offer documentation
  • Managing colleague onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintaining up-to-date HR documentation in line with UK employment law and best practice
  • Coordinating payroll, holiday tracking and employee benefits administration
  • Monitoring attendance, holidays and other absence records
Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need :

  • Previous experience in a varied administrative role
  • Proficiency in all MS applications
  • Knowledge of HR best practices
Desirable Skills
  • Experience within a logistics environment
  • Working towards or holding a HR qualification
  • Immediate availability
