Job description

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Maidstone, United Kingdom

Salary: Guarantee earnings of £60K in the first year, with realistic second-year earnings of £100K (uncapped).

Company: Our client is a well-established nationwide provider of business-critical services to SMEs across the UK for over 75 years, serving 130,000 clients worldwide. They are known for their trained and rewarded staff.

Role: The successful candidate will:

  • Take a consultative approach to sales, providing tailored solutions to clients.
  • Attend sales appointments arranged by telemarketing.
  • Self-generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Receive a four-week induction training.

Candidate Requirements:

  • B2B field sales experience.
  • Understanding of consultative sales processes.
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience in lead generation.
  • Experience selling to SMEs.
  • Good closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Full driving license.

Additional Benefits:

  • Basic salary of £30K, guaranteed to £60K in the first year.
  • Uncapped OTE of £90K, top earners exceeding £150K.
  • Company car or £5,000 car allowance.

Commission Structure:

  • 5% on sales up to £200,000.
  • 10% on sales exceeding £200,000 (uncapped).

Quarterly Bonus: Achieve 30 deals and £325,000 revenue for a £5,000 bonus.

Commutability: Maidstone, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Ashford, Canterbury, Whitstable, Dover, Folkestone.
