We’re looking for a tenacious and proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us accelerate growth at Quantum Commodity Intelligence. This is a high-impact role that sits at the front of our commercial engine — identifying opportunities, re-engaging warm leads, and opening conversations that convert to sales.

You’ll be instrumental in driving qualified opportunities into the hands of our Account Executives, with a particular focus on reconnecting with historic prospects who have had some exposure to our services.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and connect with potential leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Re-engage with historic leads and position Quantum’s value proposition
  • Qualify leads and register them for platform trials
  • Deliver high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) into the pipeline
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach with campaign messaging
  • Maintain accurate activity and lead data in our CRM
  • Own the top of funnel within our entire pipeline

Experience and Competencies

  • 1–3 years of experience in a BDR or SDR role, preferably in B2B
  • Proven success in outbound prospecting and cold calling
  • Experience with lead sourcing tools and CRM systems
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills
  • Strong organisational skills and self-motivation
  • Experience in reporting price assessments or working in a price reporting agency is a plus
  • Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply — language skills are a bonus
