At Patchworks, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, driving demand, generating new leads, and identifying business opportunities. You will manage a pipeline of prospects, effectively communicate our value proposition, and support the seamless progression of qualified leads through the sales funnel to drive revenue growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the inbound lead funnel, qualifying opportunities through emails, website inquiries, and social media engagement.
  • Conduct intent-based outbound prospecting to generate new leads and opportunities using our outreach tools.
  • Communicate Patchworks’ value proposition to prospects through a consultative, solution-based sales approach to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Transfer qualified leads seamlessly to the appropriate Account Executive, ensuring a smooth and efficient lead handoff process.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, tracking all interactions and follow-ups in HubSpot to ensure consistent pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimise outreach strategies and lead qualification processes.
  • Develop expertise in Patchworks’ market to support meaningful conversations with inbound leads.
  • Represent Patchworks at industry events to generate connections and business leads.

What you’ll need:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Previous experience in SaaS, tech, or a high-growth startup environment is a plus.
  • Experience in selling platform or e-commerce solutions is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong phone, email, and social media presence, with experience executing targeted and personalised outreach.
  • Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience working with HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, organise, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
