Business Development Manager - UK and Europe

Location – UK, with flexibility for international travel via airports and motorway networks.

Salary - £60k to £70k basic, plus bonus up to £12k per annum, along with a car and benefits.

The Opportunity

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a group of 10 global manufacturers across America, Asia, and Europe. The company produces test and measurement equipment and services, serving sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Healthcare, sold through distribution partners worldwide.

The Role

This position focuses on developing the UK market strategy through distribution partners across various sectors, with a similar focus on Europe. You will nurture existing relationships, analyze market trends, assess product offerings and pricing, and provide feedback to product and sales teams. The role involves shaping sales strategies at the country level and collaborating with local sales teams across Europe to maximize potential.

The Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of electrically biased products or solutions, or at least a technical background. You should be a strategic thinker with experience in business development and growth strategies for emerging markets. A strong background in export or international sales is essential, along with flexibility for international travel. Experience working within a matrix organization with multiple decision-makers across countries is advantageous.
