Business Development Manager - UK and Europe

Location – UK, with flexibility for international travel via airports and motorway networks.

Salary - £60k to £70k basic, plus bonuses up to £12k per annum, along with a car and benefits.

The Opportunity

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a group of 10 global manufacturers operating in America, Asia, and Europe. The company manufactures test and measurement equipment and provides related services to sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Healthcare. These solutions are sold through distribution partners across these regions.

The Role

The focus is on developing and implementing sales strategies in the UK and European markets through existing and new distribution partners. Responsibilities include market analysis, gap analysis, trend assessment, and providing feedback to product management and sales teams. The role involves shaping sales strategies at the country level and collaborating with local sales teams across Europe to optimize potential.

The Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of electrically biased products or solutions or be technically inclined. They should be strategic thinkers with experience in business development and growth strategies in emerging markets. A background in export or international sales and willingness to travel internationally are essential. Experience working within a matrix organization with multiple decision-makers across different countries is advantageous.
