Business Development Manager - UK and Europe

Location – UK, with flexibility for travel via airports and motorway networks for international travel.

Salary - £60k to £70k basic, plus bonus up to £12k per annum, and additional benefits including a car.

The Opportunity

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a group of 10 global manufacturers across America, Asia, and Europe. The company produces test and measurement equipment and related services, supplying sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Healthcare through distribution partners.

The Role

The focus is on developing the UK market strategy for sales via distribution channels across various industry segments, along with expanding the European footprint. You will nurture existing relationships and analyze market trends, product offerings, and pricing to inform product management and sales strategies. The role involves shaping sales strategies at the country level and collaborating with local sales teams across Europe to optimize opportunities.

The Applicant

The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of electrical products or solutions, strategic thinking skills, and experience in business development and growth strategies in emerging markets. A strong background in export or international sales, flexibility for international travel, and experience working within a matrix organizational structure are highly desirable.
