A leading event organizing company is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead revenue growth across flagship technology events. This role requires strong skills in sales strategy delivery, account management, and client relationship building. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in exhibitions and sponsorships. We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth across our flagship technology events DTX London, DTX Manchester, and Manchester Tech Week.
In this role, you will own the delivery of the sales strategy across your own technology area, ensuring your portfolio meets and exceeds revenue targets. You will balance a strong new business focus with strategic account management, identifying and converting high-value opportunities while nurturing long term client partnerships that underpin the success of our events.
Success in this position requires an exceptional communicator as someone who can articulate value with clarity and authority, engage senior stakeholders, and build trust quickly across core industry bellwethers. Alongside this, you will take a strategic view of existing accounts, building relationships, uncovering growth potential, and ensuring a positive client experience.
This is a hybrid role, based a minimum of three days per week in the Clarion Events Putney office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.
