This field-based role covers London and surrounding areas with hybrid working from Wimbledon HQ; you will manage the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification to onboarding and mobilisation, while ensuring compliant, high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare business development, complex care or social care.
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, commissioning processes or CHC funding pathways
  • Track record of winning new business or care packages within healthcare settings
  • Ability to build credibility with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
  • Commercially driven and target-focused
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage your own diary and workload
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Field-Based / Hybrid (Wimbledon HQ + Travel Across London & Surrounding Areas)

Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Up to £55,000 + £20,000 OTE + £5,000 Car Allowance

Drive Growth in Healthcare That Makes a Real Difference

We are seeking a Business Development Manager with proven experience in healthcare or complex care services to drive growth across NHS and private commissioning channels.

You will be responsible for securing new care packages, building relationships with commissioners, ICBs and case managers, and supporting the mobilisation of services across London and surrounding areas.

Experience within complex care, continuing healthcare (CHC), or NHS commissioning environments is essential.

Due to rapid growth, we are looking to appoint quickly.

The Role

You will own the full healthcare sales lifecycle - from identifying opportunities through to winning, onboarding and mobilising care packages.

Working closely with clinical, operational and governance teams, you will ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and commissioning requirements.

This is a primarily sales-focused role (75% business development / 25% mobilisation) suited to someone who understands both commercial targets and healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and win new business within complex care and continuing healthcare (CHC) markets
  • Build strong relationships with NHS commissioners, ICBs, case managers and MDT stakeholders
  • Manage the full sales process: referral, assessment, proposal, contract, mobilisation
  • Develop tailored proposals, pricing structures and tender submissions aligned to healthcare frameworks
  • Support onboarding of new care packages, ensuring safe and compliant service delivery
  • Attend and contribute to MDT meetings, commissioner reviews and client meetings
  • Represent the organisation at networking events and stakeholder presentations
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting and reporting
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to support regional growth
Please Note (Essential Requirements)
  • This role requires prior experience in healthcare business development, complex care or social care services
  • Applicants without relevant healthcare sector experience will not be considered
About You
Essential
  • Proven experience in business development within healthcare, complex care or social care
