UK Territory (Field-Based) | Competitive Base + Uncapped Commission + Car/Car Allowance

Are you ready to take charge of one of the most exciting and rewarding business development roles in the engineering space?

We are partnering with a UK-based engineering manufacturer renowned for innovation, technical excellence, and a track record spanning decades. This company is recognized across multiple disciplines with growth potential in sectors such as Automotive, Marine, Nuclear, Defence, and Power Generation. As they enter an exciting growth phase, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead their expansion into these core markets.

What You'll Be Doing
  1. Identifying and engaging new business opportunities within your UK territory.
  2. Driving revenue across sectors including automotive, nuclear, defence, marine, and power generation.
  3. Attending site visits, customer meetings, and industry events to build strong face-to-face relationships.
  4. Collaborating with internal engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  5. Taking full ownership of the sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure.
What You'll Need
  1. Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within an industrial, engineering, or technical product environment.
  2. A strong desire to develop new accounts and engage key decision-makers.
  3. Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to sell based on value rather than just price.
  4. Effective communication skills and credibility to engage with engineers, project leads, and procurement teams.
  5. A self-starting attitude, as this role offers autonomy and independence.
