Job Description:

WSR is recruiting for a New Business Development Manager to join our global client based in the UK.

Location: Remote (European travel)

Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits

Role Overview: Our client provides dynamic retail experiences and pioneering productivity solutions that enhance business operations. They are looking for a talented New Business Development Manager to attract new clients and create opportunities by closing large global accounts within target markets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify, develop, and close new profitable business opportunities within target markets, aiming for accounts exceeding £3m.
  • Build and maintain rapport with clients at various organizational levels.
  • Deliver professional sales presentations.
  • Manage project proposals, quotations, and meeting reports.
  • Communicate with clients regarding new developments.
  • Negotiate contracts with support from department heads.
  • Understand and document client briefs and communicate requirements internally.
  • Secure purchase orders at each project stage.
  • Coordinate with other departments for accurate order and information flow.
  • Maintain detailed contact reports for all meetings.
  • Provide bi-weekly progress reports to the Department Head.
  • Plan and submit weekly diaries.
  • Coordinate with international offices for global developments.
  • Work with Finance on credit and collection procedures, assisting with debt collection when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in sales, including upselling and negotiating deals/contracts, and delivering sales presentations.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-confidence, persuasiveness, and active listening skills.
  • Willingness to review and improve methodologies, products, and services.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and overseas as required.
