Blue Legal is partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Business Development Manager for their Glasgow or Edinburgh office. The role involves leading and supporting an integrated group comprising IP, Technology, & Media lawyers, working with some of the world’s biggest brands on market-defining mandates. The ideal candidate will have a focus on process improvement and the ability to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Partners with business development initiatives and manage relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Stay informed on legal and industry developments to shape BD strategies.
  • Create engaging pitch materials and presentations for clients and prospects.
  • Organise events, webinars, and networking opportunities to promote the firm.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, directory submissions, and awards to enhance visibility.
  • Assist with business planning, budgeting, and maintain BD tools, content, and CRM systems.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in Business Development and/or Marketing within a law firm.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to align BD activities with firm strategy.
