About the role:

The ASHP Business Development Manager will focus on supporting new and existing installers to purchase and install low carbon heating solutions for residential homeowners.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Identifying and contacting potential ASHP installers using internal and external databases, industry intelligence, and introducing Baxi products to new installers unfamiliar with Baxi.
  • Encouraging potential customers to consider a career in ASHP installation, qualifying their interest, and scheduling future contact.
  • Advising interested parties on becoming fully competent ASHP installers and purchasing Baxi ASHPs via residential merchants.
  • Once certified, developing relationships as the key point of contact, identifying new projects, gathering information, and liaising with the Pre-sales Technical team for design schematics and product selection.
  • Logging all potential projects on CRM and communicating potential orders to key merchant contacts.
  • Proactively following up with potential customers via phone, email, or face-to-face communications.
  • Researching potential customers prior to contact and logging details on CRM.
  • Collaborating with Resi ASM’s to build rapport and relationships.
  • Organizing BPEC and product training in conjunction with Baxi Training Centres.
  • Staying updated on industry legislation, product features, benefits, and competitor offerings.
  • Understanding pricing models offered by regional merchants.
  • Following up on designs generated by the pre-sales technical team and logging progress on CRM.
About you:

To succeed, you should have:

  • Experience in sales, negotiation, and new business development.
  • Strong technical understanding and communication skills with stakeholders.
  • Background with renewable technology installers or manufacturers (desirable).
  • Numeracy skills to analyze data and turn it into actionable insights.
  • Ability to understand market dynamics, products, and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working within sales or service teams.
  • Research experience.
  • CRM knowledge.
  • Strong IT skills for data analysis and reflection.
