Business Development Manager - Waste Management

Location: Remote, covering London Region - including London, Aylesbury, Ipswich, London North East, North West London, London South East, London South West, Worcester.

Salary: Up to £50,000 basic, OTE £75k uncapped!

Role:

As an experienced Business Development Manager, you will be part of a dynamic Waste Management brokerage team covering your allocated region with flexibility for UK-wide travel. Your focus will be on driving new business growth, building your own client portfolio, and managing relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation and market analysis
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain a steady sales pipeline
  • Manage your own diary to ensure regular customer meetings
  • Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
  • Track and report on lead generation, sales pipeline, and activities

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Successful experience in driving new business growth
  • Passion for sustainability, environmental conservation, and waste management
  • Ability to close sales through multiple channels
  • Understanding of the waste management industry
  • Proven sales targets achievement of at least £40,000/month
