As our Business Development Manager, you will take responsibility for developing existing customers, identifying further opportunities and generating new business where there is a clear fit for our solutions. Initially, the split will be approximately 70% new business and 30% account management.
You'll enjoy building long-term customer relationships and be motivated by winning new business. You're commercially aware, naturally curious and keen to develop your career beyond sales, with an interest in understanding how a successful engineering business operates. Previous experience within water treatment would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in candidates from other technical or industrial sales backgrounds who can demonstrate a consultative approach and the ambition to progress.

This role has been created as part of our long-term succession planning strategy. You'll begin by developing your commercial expertise before gaining exposure to wider business functions including operations, finance, production and strategic planning, creating genuine opportunities to progress into senior leadership within approximately five years.
