Job summary

C&M Travel Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for a charity with industry links. You will focus on winning new corporate partners, delivering fundraising growth, and supporting events and conferences.

Hybrid work: 2 days in South West London office, 3 days out and about or from home. Requires a minimum of two years in business development within travel corporates or charity sectors, and strong proposal writing and research skills.

• Minimum of two years in a business development role within travel corporates or charity sectors.
• Excellent written skills and ability to create compelling proposals.
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude and confident, motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new corporate partnerships to grow fundraising targets.
• Research, prepare pitches and presentations, and attend meetings with potential partners.
• Contribute to proposals to trusts and foundations and support events and conferences.
• Build relationships with potential supporters and corporate contacts, staying abreast of fundraising trends.

Business development manager

required for this fantastic charity, with links within the travel industry. They are looking for an experience business development manager from either the travel industry or a charity to join the team. The role is approached new corporate companies to help grow their fundraising growth. 5 days a week, 2 days in the office in South West London, 3 days out and about and from home. Salary between 40/45k plus pension, 23 days holidays etc.

• Focus on securing new corporate business, winning, negotiating and delivering new partners and meeting sales/fundraising targets
• Providing relevant research, preparing pitches and presentations, and attending meetings
• Contribute to proposals to trusts and foundations, supporting the head of fundraising and communications
• Provide support for the companies events, networking opportunities, conferences and partner events, building relationships with potential supporters and corporate contacts.
• Keep up to date with fundraising trends
• Minimum of two years experience in a business development role within the travel industry targeting corporates or within the charity sector
• Excellent written skills and able to to create compelling proposals
• Ability to research, and engage prospective supporters
• Self starter with a can do attitude
• Confident, motivated
