Business Development Executive - Charity, Not-For-Profit
Liverpool (1-2 days p/w in office)
up to £40,000
This is a business development role for someone who still enjoys the challenge of winning new business, building relationships and growing revenue, but would like the end result to mean a little more.
We’re working with an established not-for-profit who is looking to bring their second Business Development hire in to help drive its next stage of growth.
The priority is finding someone commercially minded who knows how to identify opportunities, open doors, build strong relationships and turn conversations into new business.
You’ll have plenty of opportunity to influence how services are positioned and taken to market, rather than simply being handed a list of leads and expected to work through it.
This is currently a salary-led package without a formal commission scheme. As a newly created BD function, the initial focus will be on developing the commercial approach, building pipeline and establishing what success looks like, with the potential for an incentive structure to be introduced as the function develops.
Experience within charities, fundraising, corporate partnerships, not-for-profit organisations or another purpose-led environment would be particularly interesting, but isn't essential.
If you’re a strong commercial operator who likes the idea of using those skills in an organisation where the work has a genuine social impact, we’d be keen to hear from you.
