A leading consultancy is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities in Employment Law and Health & Safety outsourcing solutions. This role offers a competitive salary with a guaranteed first year income of £60,000 and uncapped commission potential. Business Development Manager

SALARY: 30,000 Basic + (30,000 Guarantee for First Year), totaling 60k Guaranteed in Year 1

Realistic OTE: 155,200 (totally uncapped). Top earners exceed 220k.

The role of Business Development Manager is to develop new business opportunities by collaborating with the Telemarketing and Services Teams and building your own referral network.

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, high-performing Business Development professional, specializing in selling Employment Law and Health & Safety outsourcing solutions to the mid-market sector (30+ employee businesses).

What we are looking for:
  • At least 2 years of experience selling in a B2B environment (industry experience NOT required)
  • Confidence in value-based/consultative selling
  • Ability to sell to diverse audiences including Business Owners, Board of Directors, and HR Managers
Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Attending sales appointments booked by your Telemarketing partner
  2. Collaborating with the Head of Seminars to generate a quarterly seminar plan to maximize sales opportunities
  3. Generating and attending meetings with potential introducers and referral partners
  4. Self-generating new leads, appointments, and referrals through daily business activities
  5. Achieving quarterly sales targets
  6. Managing and maintaining your sales pipeline accurately
