Base Pay Range

Job Title: Junior Business Development Manager

Salary: £30,000 basic, £35,000 + with OTE/Commission

Sector: FMCG / Tech

A tech enterprise, established over ten years ago, now a prominent player across the UK, parts of Europe, and Asia. The company is expanding into multiple markets and geographies within the UK.

They are hiring numerous Junior Business Development Managers to grow their client portfolio. Successful candidates will join new teams!

Junior Business Development Manager Package:
  • Competitive basic salary of £30,000
  • Additional OTE/commission, total earnings up to £35,000
  • Regular social events and an inclusive, welcoming environment
  • Bonuses and incentive schemes
  • Autonomy to manage your schedule and career progression — this is a largely remote role where you plan your own diary

Ideal candidates will have a natural ability to engage with people, using a consultative approach with clients. The role offers autonomy, allowing you to shape your career based on your strengths and interests.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of the company, its market, competitors, and target clients
  • Plan territory activities effectively to maximize opportunities
  • Engage prospects via phone and travel to client sites to build relationships, overcome objections, and educate on the company's value
  • Implement marketing and category initiatives within your customer base
  • Monitor and manage sales performance in your territory
  • Represent the company professionally at conferences and networking events to generate further business

  • Degree qualification preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Confident with good presentation skills
  • Driving license preferred
