Business Development Manager – Device Connectivity

Our client offers a superb opportunity for a Business Development Manager with a background in Industrial Automation to oversee the sales and growth of the Device & Field Connectivity product range.

The successful candidate will focus on achieving design-in and specification of the client's products within a broader component portfolio. You will act as a key driver of new business, collaborating with automation and connectivity experts to deliver tailored system solutions to high-value clients. With face-to-face engagement opportunities and support from a knowledgeable technical team, you will generate significant value in key industrial markets.

We seek applications from outstanding candidates with proven sales success in electronic connectors, components, and field wiring markets.

Candidates should ideally hold an HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant subject, demonstrating strong technical and commercial competence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence decision-makers. Knowledge of markets, customer types such as contract electronic manufacturers, device manufacturers, and electronic component distributors, is essential. The role involves responsibility for the sales target of this product line, ensuring profitable growth through direct sales efforts and collaboration with marketing and specification teams.

This is a home-based role, preferably with good access to major roads, as travel will be involved. It reports to the most senior level and is a key position.
