Job summary

Bluetree Recruits is seeking an Associate Business Development Manager for Northern Ireland, a permanent full-time field-based role focused on expanding the company’s healthcare sales footprint.

You'll generate new business, build relationships with surgeons and hospitals, conduct cold calls, manage CRM activity and contribute to sales forecasts. A science or business degree plus 1 year in sales is expected, with progression opportunities.

• Responsible for heading up expansion in new territories as well as building relationships among existing clients.
• ‘Cold calling’ to arrange meetings at surgeries and hospitals.
• Recording and tracking activity of customer accounts on CRM system.
• Keeping abreast with competitors and identifying new methods and opportunities for sales campaigns.
• Forecasting sales targets and making sure they are met.
• Delivering training to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Attending events and conferences.
• Writing reports and making presentations to customers and senior management.

We are working for a leading healthcare company who are recruiting for an Associate Business Development Manager to join their business and manage business development activities for the company, driving sales activities and the acquisition of new business. This is a permanent full-time field-based role.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Graduates with a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a sales role.
• Real-world, on-the-ground selling experience within the medical field is desirable; however, candidates with a natural flair for sales and strong resilience will be trained on our portfolio.
• A high 2:1 degree or above in a science, allied health, or business-related subject; hungry to learn and skill up.
• Independent, self-motivated go-getters looking to move into medical sales, with strong attention to detail.
• Mastery of communication and strong analytical skills; able to understand numbers, plan effectively and stay organised.
• A professional mindset, willing to learn and keen to progress in skills development.
• Loyalty and respect, with a commitment to a mindset of excellence.
