Blue Legal is partnering with a leading law firm that is recruiting for a Business Development Executive (Clean Energy) to join their Edinburgh or Glasgow office. The role involves providing strategic and practical business development support to the firm’s Clean Energy group, in conjunction with the Senior BD Manager – Clean Energy. The ideal candidate will be proactive and a highly motivated self-starter.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of marketing and business development initiatives, including executing the Clean Energy sector plan.
  • Conduct market research and develop content for newsletters, social media, email campaigns, and the firm’s website.
  • Assist with RFPs, proposals, and the development of marketing materials such as bios, credentials, and practice overviews.
  • Coordinate and help deliver client-facing and internal events to raise the firm’s profile.
  • Maintain the CRM system and analyze campaign effectiveness and client engagement.
  • Build relationships with lawyers and colleagues, and contribute to wider BD and marketing team projects and initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Educated to degree level with at least two years’ experience in a business development or marketing role.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and their application in marketing and BD activities.
