JOB TITLE: Business Development Executive
LOCATION: Middlesbrough
SALARY: Guarantee earnings of £60K for First Year. Realistic Year Two earnings of £100K (uncapped).

The COMPANY
Our client is a well-established nationwide provider of business-critical services to thousands of SME organisations across the UK for over 75 years. With 130,000 clients worldwide, they boast one of the best trained and rewarded staff in the industry. They are seeking an experienced Field Sales Executive.

The ROLE
The successful candidate will:

  • Take a consultative approach to sales, tailoring solutions to client needs.
  • Attend sales appointments arranged by the telemarketing team.
  • Self-generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Receive comprehensive training, including a four-week induction.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Ideal candidates will have:
  • B2B field sales experience.
  • Understanding of consultative sales processes.
  • Ambition and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience in lead generation.
  • Experience selling to SMEs.
  • Strong closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • A full driving license.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Basic salary of £30K, guaranteed to £60K in the first year, with uncapped OTE of £90K+ (top earners £150K+). Company car or £5,000 car allowance. Additional benefits include life insurance, 24/7 employment advice, and a day off for your birthday.

COMMISSION & BONUSES
Quarterly commission based on sales:
- 5% for sales up to £200,000
- 10% uncapped for sales over £200,000
Quarterly bonus of £5,000 for achieving 30 deals and £325,000 revenue.

This role is accessible from Durham, Middlesbrough, Redcar, Stockton-On-Tees, Hartlepool, Sunderland, Peterlee, and Houghton le Spring.
