About The Job You're Considering

You will be leading pipeline growth and acquisition of new business from new clients within Cloud Infrastructure Services that spans a portfolio of targeted clients in a particular market segment. Your focus will be to lead and drive top line growth for the business segment:

  • Build, manage and implement the Sales Strategy and Sales Plan for your sub-segment,
  • Build a strong pipeline to support your Top line Sales target.
  • Building relationships with the other stakeholders in our business units,
  • Leveraging your expertise to help develop clear sales strategies and identify opportunities,
  • Drive growth by identifying customer needs and working with colleagues to construct solutions that include the full breadth of both our infrastructure portfolio and wider Capgemini capabilities.
  • Build close relationships with the senior executives in your target clients and develop your personal value proposition with these individuals.
  • Work with Key partners, such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, and ServiceNow, and have experience working with others.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status,

employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

Your role

  • Responsibility to identify and qualify leads & deals for their named territory and/or targeted accounts
  • Planning, directing and controlling end to end opportunity lifecycle (qualification to closure)
  • You will be accountable for all steps in sales lifecycle
  • You will develop and implement the Sales strategy and Sales Plan as well as contributing to the overall sector strategy, in line with group initiatives.
  • You will own a personal sales target as part of the team target.
  • Work closely with named delivery resources (DE, SDM, Portfolio Lead) for territory/named customers
  • You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally

Your Skills And Experience

  • Experience of new business sales, delivering business growth across a range of customers/industries and have a good grasp of competition in the market
  • Experience of selling cloud infrastructure technology projects and services
  • Be a proven team player in a matrix organization, building trust with a range of stakeholders and instilling confidence
  • Be able to describe the end result (solution) required to satisfy a client problem
  • Have commercial acumen – pricing, contracting, negotiating
  • Able to navigate governance and approval processes effectively and efficiently
  • Exhibit Sales Leadership behaviours – Story Telling, Value Selling, Listening, Questioning, Motivate and Encourage Others

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.

There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
