I am currently looking for a Business Development Director for a global full-service clinical Contract Research Organization with a strong reputation and a collaborative culture. This is a newly created, remote role focusing on the UK/western European market. You will be responsible for securing new business and managing accounts within pharma, biotechnology, and medical device companies across various therapeutic areas including oncology, CNS, renal, and rare diseases.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Achieving sales and business development targets
• Developing and implementing business strategies for target markets
• Prospecting and building a pipeline of sales opportunities
• Using Salesforce to track client activities and opportunities
• Leading sales processes and proposal development
• Redefining profitable market niches based on evidence
