Function:

The Business Consultant will work with customers and Itineris teams to ensure the successful deployment of the UMAX solution, focusing on managing customer needs from a business and regulatory perspective. The role involves providing business and market guidance, supporting application consultants, and mediating customer business decisions.

The position is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR, requiring market experience in Ireland (ROI and NIE) and ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is a cloud-based software for water and energy utilities, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, automating business processes and enhancing customer engagement.

As a Business Consultant with Irish market experience, you will:

• Serve as a link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional teams in translating needs into requirements.
• Attend workshops and meetings onsite with clients.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing teams.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution for market readiness.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, and project teams.
• Participate in project meetings and identify risks proactively.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to clients.
• Upskill with industry best practices and deepen understanding of the Irish energy market.
• Continuously develop knowledge within the utility market, especially in Ireland, and share insights with colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills (Master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant, preferably in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in requirements gathering and understanding customer processes.
• Skills in Business Process Management.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Team player with problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, quality-driven, and customer-oriented.
