Job Description:

Function:

The Business Consultant will work for the customer and the Itineris project and service delivery teams. They will be responsible for the success of the UMAX solution by ensuring customer needs are managed from a business and market regulations perspective. The Business Consultants will focus on providing relevant business and market guidance to our application consultants and will support mediation decisions with the customer’s business.

The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK or EIR and requires experience of the market in Ireland, both ROI and NIE. ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is our software solution for water and energy utilities, automating their business processes and enabling better customer engagement. It is cloud-based, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional experts to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Attend workshops and meetings onsite with customers.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution to go to market.
• Collaborate closely and develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project delivery teams.
• Participate in project progress meetings and proactively identify risk areas.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to new and existing customers.
• Work with colleagues to upskill and understand industry best practices, especially for the Irish energy market (ROI & NIE).
• Continuously develop knowledge within the Utility market, especially in Ireland, and transfer knowledge to others.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least +5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant, preferably in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in business requirements and understanding of business processes.
• Skilled in Business Process Management.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Team player with problem-solving mentality.
• Hands-on, proactive, and quality-driven.
• Customer-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
