Function:

The Business Consultant will work with customers and internal teams to ensure the successful deployment of the UMAX solution, focusing on customer needs from a business and market regulation perspective. The role involves providing business and market guidance, supporting mediation decisions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The position is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR, requiring market experience in Ireland (ROI and NIE) and ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is a cloud-based software for water and energy utilities built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, automating business processes and improving customer engagement.

As a Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you will:

• Serve as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional teams in translating business needs into requirements.
• Participate in workshops and meetings onsite with clients.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing teams.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution for market readiness.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project teams.
• Participate in project meetings and identify potential risks.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to clients.
• Upskill with industry best practices, especially for the Irish energy market (ROI & NIE).
• Continuously develop knowledge of the Utility market in Ireland and transfer this knowledge to colleagues.

What you bring:

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• Deep knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in identifying business requirements and understanding customer processes.
• Skills in Business Process Management.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Team player with problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, quality-driven, and customer-oriented.
