Function:

The Business Consultant will work for the customer and the Itineris project and service delivery teams. They will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of the UMAX solution by managing customer needs from a business and market regulations perspective. The role focuses on providing relevant business and market guidance to our application consultants and supporting mediation decisions with the customer’s business.

The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR, and requires experience in the Irish market, both ROI and NIE. ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is our software solution for water and energy utilities, automating business processes and enabling better customer engagement. It is a cloud-based solution built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.

As our Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you will:

• Be the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional experts in translating business needs into functional requirements.
• Attend workshops and meetings onsite with customers.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution for market readiness.
• Collaborate closely and build strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project teams.
• Participate in project progress meetings and proactively identify risks.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to customers.
• Work with colleagues to upskill and understand industry best practices, especially in the Irish energy market (ROI & NIE).
• Continuously develop your knowledge within the Utility market, especially in Ireland, and transfer this knowledge to colleagues.

What you bring:

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least +5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in identifying business requirements and understanding customer processes.
• Skills in Business Process management.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel depending on project phase.
• A dynamic team player with problem-solving mentality.
• Hands-on, proactive, quality-driven.
• Customer-oriented and adaptable to fast-changing environments.
