Function:

The Business Consultant works for the customer and Itineris teams, ensuring the success of the UMAX solution by managing customer needs from a business and market regulations perspective. The role focuses on providing relevant business and market guidance and supporting mediation decisions with the customer Business.

The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR, requiring experience in the Irish market (ROI and NIE) and ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is our software for water and energy utilities, automating business processes and enabling better customer engagement. It is cloud-based, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365.

As a Market-Experienced Business Consultant (EIR), you will:

• Serve as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional experts to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Attend workshops & meetings onsite with customers.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution for market readiness.
• Collaborate closely and develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project teams.
• Participate in project progress meetings and identify risk areas.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to clients.
• Work with consultants to upskill according to industry best practices and understand Irish energy market specifics (ROI & NIE).
• Continuously expand your knowledge of the Utility market in Ireland and share knowledge with colleagues.

What you bring

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• Deep knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least 5+ years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in business requirements gathering and understanding business processes.
• Skilled in Business Process Management.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
• Willing to travel to client sites depending on project phase.
• A team player with problem-solving mentality.
• Hands-on, proactive, and quality-driven.
• Customer-oriented and adaptable to fast-changing environments.
