Responsibilities
- Drive high‑complexity change management across client assignments using established frameworks (e.g. PROSCI).
- Own key deliverables including stakeholder mapping, communication plans, engagement strategies, training plans and resistance‑management plans.
- Conduct impact assessments, prepare business‑readiness statements and advise senior stakeholders on risks and mitigation to inform go/no‑go decisions.
- Build capability for change readiness: coach line managers and teams, foster a culture of change readiness, and tailor support for control‑room environments.
- Collaborate with client and Methods project/program leads, sponsors and SMEs to ensure effective communication and engagement up to executive level.
- Provide governance oversight, assess quality of change activities, oversee testing and training phases, lead benefits management and post‑implementation reviews.
- Ensure stakeholder and team engagement throughout, agree on processes and timelines and communicate them for successful delivery.
- Foster collaboration across project and internal boundaries; contribute to business development and new product/service evolution.
- Support internal change projects and participate in Communities of Practice.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a change thought leader, driving sustainable transformation across critical programmes and projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and deep understanding of the UK public‑services landscape across sectors.
- Significant experience in change management, typically degree‑level educated (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience managing the human side of change in large programmes/projects.
- Ability to build and influence relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Detailed understanding of Business‑Change Management principles (e.g. PROSCI) including communications, engagement, stakeholder and resistance management.
- Team‑oriented, able to maintain, influence and motivate a team, and understand team dynamics.
- Ability to contribute to and support internal change projects.
