The Business Administration Apprentice will be a full-time, office-based position in Ellon, working as part of our administration and operations team while completing a Business and Administration SCQF Level 6 Modern Apprenticeship.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience supporting the day-to-day running of the business and will be involved in a wide range of administrative and coordination tasks.
Responsibilities will include organising travel arrangements such as flights, hotels and hire cars, assisting with visa applications where required, liaising with clients regarding vessel and site work, communicating with suppliers and preparing quotations.
The apprentice will also assist with creating certification, reports and delivery notes, uploading documentation to client databases, opening and maintaining job folders, tracking job-related costs, assisting with invoicing, ordering PPE, monitoring personnel movements and arranging training courses.
The role will provide the opportunity to develop strong organisational, communication and administrative skills while gaining an understanding of how a busy, internationally focused business operates.
The successful candidate will be supported throughout their apprenticeship and will be given increasing responsibility as their skills and confidence develop.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and keen to learn. Previous office experience is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have:
National 5 qualifications, or equivalent, in English and Maths would be advantageous but are not essential.
