Job summary

West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking a Bus Station Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy bus station, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for customers, staff, operators and stakeholders.

You will oversee facilities management, cleaning, health and safety compliance and coordinate resources and partners to support smooth service delivery, with weekend rota work and occasional travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of a bus station, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for customers, staff, operators and stakeholders.
• Overseeing facilities management, cleaning operations, health and safety compliance and coordination of resources and partners to support smooth running.
• Work closely with bus operators, drivers, tenants, retailers, local authorities and emergency services to deliver efficient services and a positive customer experience.
• Manage competing priorities and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders; provide coverage across locations when needed.
• Primarily based at one bus station with flexibility to provide management cover across other locations; occasional weekend working on a rota (approximately one weekend in eight).
