Building Services Engineering – Electrical EQA

We are currently recruiting a qualified external quality assurer to carry out and document quality assurance activities in line with City & Guilds and regulatory arrangements.

Role details:

  • Associate Type – External Quality Assurer
  • Industry Area – Building Services & Built Environment
  • Sub‑market – Electrical (BSI)
  • Location Type – Face‑to‑face (onsite)
  • Territories – East Midlands, West Midlands
  • Ref No – [not provided]
  • Contract – Annual basis, not directly employed by City & Guilds Group

As a City & Guilds EQA you will maintain effective working relationships with centres, plan and monitor quality assurance activities, and provide concise, supportive feedback to learners, assessors and delivery staff.

Applicants must meet the essential criteria:

  • Current and credible expertise in working with electrical qualifications
  • Hold the appropriate assessor qualification (D32/D33 or A1/A2, or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement)
  • Achieved or working towards the (-41) External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (TAQA) or an equivalent (D35/V2)
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience providing supportive, concise feedback to learners, assessors and delivery staff
  • Ideally located within the region(s) of the advertised vacancy

Training for the External Quality Assurer role will be provided following a successful review and vetting of your application.

External Quality Assurers are contracted on an annual basis and are not directly employed by the City & Guilds Group, making this an ideal opportunity to become an External Assessor in addition to your current role.
