Job summary

Deverell Smith Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a General Manager to lead a 550-unit Build-To-Rent scheme in Digbeth, delivering best-in-class resident experiences and creating a vibrant on-site community.

You will own the lettings and property management, drive rental growth, manage budgets, and guide a multi-disciplinary team across leasing, facilities and customer service while championing health, safety and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Led teams in build-to-rent, PBSA, hospitality or similar for at least 3 years.
• Comfortable reading a budget and driving commercial performance.
• Commercially sharp with a community-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L and drive rental growth with disciplined cost control.
• Lead, develop and inspire a multi-disciplinary onsite team.
• Set the resident experience tone and foster a five-star ethos.
• Champion health & safety and sustainability across the scheme.
• Build relationships with local business, tenants and community.
