Job summary

Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd is seeking a General Manager for a 550-unit build-to-rent scheme in Digbeth, Birmingham. You will own onsite lettings and property management, driving rental growth and reporting with commercial rigour.

Lead a multi-disciplinary team across leasing, facilities and customer service, shape the resident experience with events and a five-star ethos, and champion health, safety and sustainability while partnering with senior leadership on long-term asset strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading teams in build-to-rent, PBSA, hospitality or similar.
• Strong budget and financial acumen.
• Experience managing a lettings and facilities team.

Responsibilities

• Own the onsite lettings and property management team.
• Own the P&L and drive rental growth while controlling costs.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary onsite team across leasing, facilities and customer service.
• Set resident experience tone with events and a five-star customer ethos.
• Champion health & safety and sustainability, ensuring compliance.
• Build relationships with local businesses, tenants and the Digbeth community.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term asset strategy.
