Job summary

Dr. Martens Brighton store is seeking an engaging Store Manager to lead a diverse team and deliver outstanding service while driving sales and store KPIs.

You will oversee staffing, training, visual merchandising, stock control, and health & safety, ensuring a superb customer experience in a dynamic fashion environment. The role requires experience managing retail teams, coaching staff, and a proven ability to hit targets, with strong communication, numeracy and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Previous Store Manager experience, preferably in fashion/lifestyle brands.
• Experience coaching, developing and mentoring a retail team.
• Sales-driven with ability to meet store goals.
• Excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good IT literacy including MS Office, scheduling tools and EPOS systems.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day retail operations (staffing, training, sales, merchandising, banking, planning) to meet company targets.
• Own Health & Safety and security within the store; implement search procedures.
• Monitor P&L and manage controllable costs (including payroll).
• Drive sales performance metrics (conversion, ATV, UPT).
• Ensure high standards of customer service and stock management.
