Job summary

Stantec is offering a 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Brighton office, supporting the Water team with electrical design and MEICA delivery across water and wastewater projects. You'll gain hands‑on experience through site visits, documentation and collaboration with senior engineers.

You'll work within a local Brighton MEICA team of six, with regional support across Brighton, Southampton, London and High Wycombe, developing professional qualifications toward the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and keen interest in the water industry.
• Demonstrates adaptability, perseverance, collaboration and problem-solving in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking site visits for condition assessment and information gathering.
• Supporting senior engineers with schedules and authoring technical documents.
• Building up site power burden and calculating new site requirements.
• Supporting specification of system architecture layouts, including fibre network design.
• Participating in constructability workshops and contributing to practical design solutions.
• Developing your technical capability through project work, collaboration, training and structured graduate development.
