Stantec invites you to join its 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Brighton, supporting the design and delivery of mechanical solutions for water and wastewater projects. You will be part of the regional MEICA team with access to mentoring from chartered engineers.

This role offers hands-on technical development, exposure to CMDP+ schemes with Southern Water, site visits, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period.
• Willing to commute to Brighton and work four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical engineering design and delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Produce engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions.
• Assist with site visits, inspections and surveys for asset assessments.
• Engage with suppliers, contractors and clients to review technical submissions.
• Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
