Job summary

AECOM in Manchester is seeking a Bridge Structures Engineering Apprentice for a 2027 start. This full-time, hybrid role offers hands-on experience on UK bridge projects, with training toward EngTech/IEng status.

You will produce CAD drawings, support structural design and desktop publishing, and gain exposure to site visits, data analysis, and project administration within a global infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

• GCSEs and A-Levels completed with maths/English.
• Interest in CAD and 3D modelling technologies.
• Right to work in the UK and eligible for a UK apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings for bridge-related projects.
• Support structural design and desktop publishing tasks.
• Assist with project administration and record-keeping.
• Review and analyse data.
