Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join the Breast Imaging Office at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, with regular cross-site duties at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

You will greet patients, answer calls, book appointments, manage emails, take minutes at meetings, and provide clerical support while upholding NHS confidentiality and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• 3+ GCSEs including Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and record attendance on NBSS/CRIS.
• Handle telephone enquiries from health professionals, public and patients.
• Monitor the generic email account and respond promptly.
• Book breast screening appointments and prepare clinic lists.
• Print letters, reports, and clinic schedules.
• Dispatch screening letters to set timetables.
• Attend monthly department meetings and take minutes.
