Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Radiographer with postgraduate Mammography qualifications to support NHS breast screening services. The role requires HCPC registration, full UK driving licence, and ability to travel to multiple screening sites.

Qualifications

• DCR/BSc in Radiography required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Mammography required.
• HCPC registration required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical mammography in screening, assessment and symptomatic clinics.
• Maintain a heavy screening workload and ensure timely examinations.
• Work within examination time constraints of breast screening.
• Prioritise workload and supervise areas of work.
• Mentor trainees and support staff.
• Use hospital radiology IT systems effectively.
• Carry out Equipment QA testing and fault reporting.
