Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Breakfast Food & Beverage Assistant (Casual) for Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre. You’ll join a friendly team and receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn essential service skills.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will greet guests by name, knowledge of food and wine, upsell where appropriate, and keep areas clean and welcoming. Fluent English and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings/weekends.
• High-volume/fast-paced environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and ensure excellent service.
• Maintain good knowledge of food and wine and make recommendations.
• Remain friendly, courteous, and professional at all times.
• Upsell to maximise sales revenue wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant area.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job:
